01 The Problem

A 20-person digital marketing agency in Playa Vista had grown from 5 to 20 employees in 18 months. Their network was still the original consumer router from their WeWork days — no firewall, no VLANs, no endpoint protection. Two employees had already clicked phishing links (no damage, by luck). File sharing was a mix of personal Google Drives and USB sticks. The founder knew they needed "real IT" but had no idea where to start.

02 Our Approach

We performed a full IT audit and deployed a Ubiquiti UniFi network stack: managed switch, enterprise access points, and a security gateway with IDS/IPS. We segmented the network into VLANs (staff, guest, IoT), deployed SentinelOne endpoint protection on all 24 devices, migrated file sharing to a centralized Google Workspace with proper admin controls, configured automated cloud backups, and set up a company-wide password manager. The agency now runs on our Standard managed plan with 4-hour SLA.

03 The Result

Zero security incidents in the 6 months since deployment. File sharing is centralized and auditable. The founder no longer fields IT questions — employees call our helpdesk directly. Monthly IT cost: less than 20% of what a junior IT hire would cost.
